Who founded the Mughal Empire, and where?

From the facts
The Mughal Empire

The Mughal Empire ruled most of the Indian subcontinent from 1526 to the 18th century, formally ending in 1857. Founded by Babur at Panipat, consolidated by Akbar's tolerant statecraft, it built the Taj Mahal, generated perhaps a quarter of world economic output at its peak, and hollowed out after Aurangzeb — Nadir Shah's 1739 sack of Delhi marking the fall.
