What killed most of the roughly 750,000 who died in the Crimean War?

From the facts
The Crimean War

The Crimean War (1853-1856) pitted Russia against the Ottoman Empire, Britain, France, and Sardinia, chiefly over influence in the declining Ottoman lands. Remembered for the Charge of the Light Brigade, Florence Nightingale, and the siege of Sevastopol, it killed some 750,000 — the great majority by disease — and was the first war covered by telegraph and photograph.
