What happened after the US Supreme Court ruled in favour of Cherokee sovereignty in Worcester v. Georgia (1832)?

From the facts
The Trail of Tears

The Trail of Tears was the forced removal of the southeastern Native nations — Choctaw, Creek, Chickasaw, Seminole, and Cherokee — west of the Mississippi under the Indian Removal Act of 1830. Of some 16,000 Cherokee driven out in 1838-39, around 4,000 died. The Supreme Court had ruled for the Cherokee; the ruling was ignored.
